INEC speaks on postponement of Saturday’s presidential, national assembly elections

The National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reported that the agency has planned to cancel the election on Saturday.   The presidential election and the National Assembly are expected to take a few hours.

The National Committee for Education and Protesters at INEC, Festus Okoye, told Nigerians to ignore rumors.  "If things are flying, let's get things done, they're reporting what's not true," he said.  The question to respond to INEC at a conference, Okoye said: "We are at the meeting but we have not made that decision.

  "This is a series of elections and committees, we meet every single time."  At the same time, the Democratic People's (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, says his camp is defeated, knowing plans to ADH polls on behalf of all the Progressive (APC) candidates, Muhammadu Buhari President.  However, the recent development of the INEC office in September as Abia, Anambra and the Plateau, where there are thousands of fireblaze 🔥 , can be a major threat to the election.

Earlier on Friday, the State Council in Niger announced that the Senate election for the northeastern state of northeast and northeastern could not hold a pillar for voting for a lost area because all materials, the ballot boxes are found missing.
